I really love that this mug because it brings so many memories. It’s great for nostalgia. Unfortunately if you want the screen to light up the liquid you put into the mug needs to piping hot and full to the rim.
I wouldn’t recommend it for a kid.

As described, the colour changing is a bit delayed as the cup needs to heat up but that’s to be expected and when I say delayed it’s maybe 15 seconds if that. Very cool to watch it change! Got it for my hubby for Christmas.
